Canoeing is an ancient mean of transportation; however, the modern canoe was introduced towards the end of the 19th century and has become increasingly popular. Nowadays, people use them for sports, recreation or entertainment.
Not all waters are suitable for this activity, as changes in water level can be tricky to navigate. The best places for this activity are canals, lakes and rivers.

WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO?
This canoeing tour will take you to see unforgettable landscapes, with houses that are still built on water, waterbirds and water plants with their charming flowers.
You will paddle through the reed lands, along with a professional guide. They will tell you more about the wildlife and the origin of the surroundings and landscapes, which inspired the famous Dutch painter Rembrandt.
On the way, you will stop and have a picnic break and enjoy some wine together too!
The tour will take approximately 4 hours and the price is 45 Euros per person. The price for children with the age between 7 and 16 is 25 Euros. The tour takes place daily from 5pm.
