The Moco Museum focuses on contemporary and modern works of art. Their exhibitions present the work of controversial and challenging modern artists. These exciting exhibitions are often organised by high-profile guest curators and offer the chance to discover a wide range of modern artwork from proven pioneers.

The MOCO was opened in 2016 and its exhibitions continue to excite and intrigue. The Museum is housed in the Villa Alsberg in the middle of Museumplein – a historic building designed by Edward Cuypers, cousin of the renowned Pierre Cuypers, the architectural mind behind the Rijksmuseum and Amsterdam’s central station.
