The MOCO was opened in 2016 and its exhibitions continue to excite and intrigue. The Museum is housed in the Villa Alsberg in the middle of Museumplein – a historic building designed by Edward Cuypers, cousin of the renowned Pierre Cuypers, the architectural mind behind the Rijksmuseum and Amsterdam’s central station.
